Melissa Crews

Hope for New Hampshire Recovery

Melissa Crews has been in long term recovery since 1993. She is currently on the board of Hope for New Hampshire Recovery, an organization focused on helping people learn to get comfortable in their recovery utilizing a non-clinical peer to peer based approach that includes teaching participants how to have fun in their recovery and stay on that path for the long haul. Melissa’s own recovery has allowed her to become a business owner, as well as a tax paying and law abiding citizen. Most importantly today, she is a recovery advocate who actually understands what long term recovery means and what it takes to get and stay there. Beyond helping those seeking recovery, Melissa spends much of her time reaching out to lawmakers, as well as the business community, explaining the importance of treating those with substance use disorder with dignity and respect.
